Christmas 2012

Christmas this year was really great!  We fit in a lot of activity in a few days!  The pictures are few and not the best quality, mainly because I was just so busy with the kids.  We did get a lot of video  though!

The festivities began with GA singing in our church service on Sunday.  

After church, we stopped by the club for a quick lunch before heading to Selma.

Aunt Ru and Uncle Scotty brought the girls hula outfits they bought in Hawaii.  The girls loved them!

Santa came!  This was Lizzie's pile.  Aunt Ru worked hard on the display arrangement.

The weather on Christmas Day was terrible, so we decided to go ahead and head to Papa's in our PJs before it got worse.  Thank goodness Santa brought GA all this new rain gear!

 There was lots of other great parts of Christmas that I just don't have pictures of. But I'm glad I was "in the moment" rather than always "behind the camera".  Merry Christmas!

After MANY attempts,  I unexpectedly snapped this picture while the girls were playing in the princess jeep in the yard.  Both girls looking at the camera with natural smiles is quite an accomplishment for us! 

Merry Christmas

In the last two weeks. . .

In the last two weeks, we have endured two cases of the flu (both girls- regardless of having vaccine in Oct.) and a case of RSV for Lizzie that included 3 trips to the doctor, an attempt at the ER, breathing treatments, an inhaler, and a double ear infection.  Throw in some holiday fun and very busy work schedules, and Will and I have seen more stress than we want to remember.  I'm praying we can stay well for a little while!  Along the way, we did take a few pictures.  Most of them are of GA, because Lizzie was too sick to get out much! So thankful she is feeling better!

Lizzie was better today and got to enjoy her Christmas party at her school.  Her teacher made all the girls in her class matching dresses!  So sweet!
