We went to the doctor for Grace Ann's 18 month check-up, and she really put on a show for Dr. Gilbert. When we went into the exam room, there was a poster of the alphabet. Grace Ann pointed to it and immediately began singing the ABC song. Then she pointed at the "Z" (which was hintfully colored in black and white stripes) and said "Z - Zebra". There was also an animal book in the room, and Grace Ann wanted to show Dr. Gilbert all the animals and tell her their sounds. It was so funny! Grace Ann weighs 22 pounds (20% percentile) and is 31 inches tall (30% percentile). Obviously, Dr. Gilbert was very impressed with her verbal skills, but agreed that I was going to have my hands full, because GA can be very strong-willed (not so happy with the examination part of the visit). She gave me some tips on handling "fit-pitching". Sadly, Grace Ann had to have three shots and was ready to get out of there! We also took a quick zoo trip this morning before Will had to play in a tournament. I didn't get that many great pictures, because Grace Ann was too busy looking at the animals to look at the camera. However, she wanted to take pictures of the animals herself and would say "Cheese Tiger", "Cheese Monkey", etc. until I let her hold the camera to take some pretend pictures!
