Another ZOO trip!

We love the Zoo! Grace Ann was in a great mood on this trip and really enjoyed watching every animal!

We got to walk inside the kangaroo area while they were being fed. However, we had to leave quickly because small children are required to be held by parents and Grace Ann was begging (pitching a fit) to "get down - walk!"

"LOOK!"
Ready to ride the train!
(side notes - First of all , that is a "Zoo Elephant" not at all related to that other school that we don't cheer for.  Also, I promise that we have white leather sandals like every southern toddler girl should, but she just LOVES her Tevas.  On this day, I put on the white sandals, went upstairs to brush my teeth, and returned to her taking the sandals off and attempting to put the Tevas on!)

We had so much fun!  As we drove away, Grace Ann kept saying "More More ZOO" until she just fell asleep!

Ducks and Geese and Swans, Oh My!

Sometimes, I take GA to run with me at a park near our country club, and she gets to see lots of ducks and geese! George and Gracie (the swan couple) are sometimes there too. She always wants to touch the geese (everything now is "touch-it"), and doesn't understand that they aren't that nice!

McWane Center

We had the BEST time at the McWane Center today. Grace Ann played so hard the entire time! Most of the pictures are from behind her, because I spent the whole time chasing her!
She LOVED these shopping carts, but didn't want to share them. She walked around forever holding on to both of them. I made her give one to a little boy. Everytime she looked at him pushing it, she would say "Boy turn" and then whine! We will continue to work on sharing!
She is not at all intimidated by the big kids. She just walks up to people and says "Hey, how you?" She definitely gets this trait from her Daddy!
"Fish"
By far, her favorite part was the water play area!

When it's this HOT outside. . .

You need a popsicle AND the sprinkler!

and maybe a few golfclubs!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy,

Grand-daddies,

and Great Grand-daddy

that a litte girl (and her mommy) could ask for! We love you all!

Black and Blue Festival

Will and I love Petals from the Past! It is a beautiful place that has every kind of fruit tree and unique rose you can think of. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. Today, we went to their annual Black and Blue Festival to pick some fresh berries!

Grace Ann was eating the berries as fast as she could pick them. I just kept telling myself that since it rained the night before, they couldn't be that dirty!

They keep the grounds immaculate!

YUMMY!!

It was HOT! But we had a great time anyway!

So far this week. . .

We have ridden the carousel with Rah Rah (3 times),

enjoyed swinging in the sun and sliding at the park,

and played in the sprinkler on the patio (because it has less bugs than the yard)!

Have I mentioned that we LOVE summer?
