So I totally feel like I have been in a diferent world the last 4 days. After SO MUCH RAIN and several days without power (and therefore internet) we are getting back to reality tonight. I have some random pictures and thoughts to catch up on.

| Shaydah came to babysit one afternoon. GA was so excited and had so much fun with her! |
 |
| These are some old pictures from the zoo. This is our crew (poor Ben has school everyday now that he is a big boy) |
 |
Up close and personal with the tiger!
These are a couple we snapped before church on Sunday.

| This angel is 4 months old - grabbing everything, rolling everywhere, and smiling all the time. She is an absolute JOY - so sweet! She weighed 14 pounds 2 ounces at her 4 month checkup. |
 |
| On Monday, we were bored with all the rain and decided to brave the outlets. GA had so much fun running in the rain with her raincoat on! |
 |
| Rowing the boat at Bass Pro |
 |
| I am so excited that Lizzie can now enjoy the excersaucer! |
This may sound crazy, but I told Will tonight that I actually enjoyed our week without power for a few reasons:
1) Great excuse to eat out
2) Great excuse to visit with friends
3) Didn't feel guilty about not washing clothes, ironing, etc. (although I did do one load at the Hendersons)
4) Good excuse to keep my hair in a pony tail for 3 days straight since I couldn't dry or curl it
5) I love that when things like this happen all the neighbors go outside and visit with each other. I met neighbors I'd never met before.
6) I love that GA only watched 30 minutes of TV in 4 days without a battle (she LOVES TV and I try hard to limit it!)
Overall, I just enjoyed being able to spend all my time enjoying my girls (and my busband when he wasn't working) and the beautiul weather that we have had the last two days. We spent most of our time playing outside once the rain finally moved out. Now it will take me forever to catch up on all the chores I didn't do while we were without power! With all that said, I was thrilled to see all the power trucks finally come to our street today. GA and I waved to them all afternoon as they worked! She was so excited when we noticed her clock blinking about 7 tonight.
