The last few weeks. . .

have been CRAZY!   We've been adjusting to lots of changes with our schedule and have also had lots of sickness.  Unfortunately, GA's school's start date was almost 2 weeks after my start date, so she has been passed around like a hot potato!  We are so thankful to friends and family who have been so helpful during this crazy time that also included a fever virus for each child (and we were just recovering from the one we had in July) .  I've also had lots of meetings at night for church and school.   Even though she has been doing lots of fun things, GA has had a hard time with all the schedule changes so I'm so ready to get into a solid routine!  So if you are my friend and you haven't heard from me lately - we are still alive!  Hopefully life will slow down soon!  Here are a few pictures:

My two best friends from Eufaula came to Birmingham for a visit last weekend. It was a little crazy with all the kids, but we had a great time! Loved seeing them! We visited McWane and Steel City Pops. Also, Chrissy and Brad hosted a lovely dinner for us!

Happy Birthday Peggy, an afternoon car ride, and Lizzie's new do!

 Peggy's celebrated her 3rd birthday with a gymnastics party!

It was the above picture that inspired me to take the plunge and cut Lizzie's hair.  The back had gotten too long to just curl under and was starting to look like a mullet.  I couldn't take it anymore!  So I cut about 2 inches off the back to make it even with the sides.  She looks adorable with her new "pixie" cut! Below is a picture of the new do!  Please excuse the fact that we are in our PJs!
