Emory and Thornton's Wedding

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating cousin Emory's wedding.  I took just a  million FEW pictures of the girls in their fancy dresses.  GA's dress was new and Lizzie's was a vintage dress Aunt KangaRu wore about thirty years ago.  GA was a program girl, and Lizzie passed out a few programs herself!

A Sunday lunch picnic at one of our favorite places. . . (from a month ago!)

So I found these pictures on my camera and can't believe I had not even looked at them!  About a month ago, Will was out of town on a Sunday, so the girls and I packed a lunch in a cooler so we could go straight from church to Aldridge Gardens for a picnic.  We had so much fun.  It is just so beautiful and peaceful there and we all enjoy walking the trail and soaking in the beautiful scenery!

Soccer - Fall 2013

We had a rocky start to our new soccer season.  Due to a conflict with gymnastics, GA decided to be a part of a different soccer league this year.  Like her parents, she struggles with change, and the first week was hard (as in lots-of-tears, refusing-to-play hard).  Thank goodness, this week went MUCH better.  She ran fast and had fun! 

 

The shirts are huge and are meant to be worn for several years, but GA refuses to tuck hers in!

Lizzie loves soccer and wants to be on the field.  She is doing Soccer Shots two-year-old program at school and is loving it!

The River House

Will's parents built a beautiful new river house, and we have enjoyed spending a lot of time there in the last couple of months.
