4th of July Weekend 2014

We had a fun 4th weekend - dinner, swimming, and fireworks at HCC on Thursday, fun at the river on Friday and Saturday, and Thomas family reunion on Sunday.  Girls were worn out!

They were both brave enough for the big waterslide!  And after two weeks of swimming lessons, Grace Ann is finally swimming!  Yay!

Father's Day Weekend 2014

We started our weekend with our annual trip to Petals from the Past for the Black and Blueberry Festival.  Petals is one of our "happy places" and Will and I have been visiting since they opened (before our kids!) We picked berries and rode ponies.  Then we rode a hayride across the highway to a peach orchard where we got to pick our own peaches.  The highlight was a private tour of the grounds with the owner on his gator. 

We never wait until we are home to eat the yummy fruit!

 On Father's Day morning, we treated Will to donuts and a new

Keurig so he can take the old one to the river. We went to church and ate lunch at HCC.

Grand Hotel June 14 Part 1

We had a wonderful vacation at the Grand Hotel at Point Clear last week.  We were there 5 nights.  Will played in the State Am and the girls and I enjoyed full days of relaxing by the pool!

Every two hours, they offered an arts and crafts project for the kids.

Lew and Haley were there and GA and Lizzie LOVED playing with them!
