Lizzie's turn to play soccer!

Lizzie is playing soccer this year!  (After a very long season last year, Grace Ann is taking a break :-) Lizzie does Soccer Shots at school and loves soccer practice, but she is still a little uneasy about the games.  But the second week was much better than the first and she even scored a goal! (She kinda forgot not to use her hands, picked up the ball, put the ball in front of the goal, and kicked it in, but we were just pleased that she was so excited about the game and trying her best!)  Hilton is on her team and they are called the "RED FIRE".  

The first night she insisted on the pink polka dot socks.  Since we found out we were the red team, I have explained that these clash with our outfit!

Labor Day 2014

We had a perfect weekend with the Hendersons at the lake and at the Auburn game!  We had so much fun tubing and playing in the water, but mostly we just enjoyed catching up with some of our most favorite people!  The weather was great, and the kids were all so good and got along so well.  We played hard everyday and were all asleep by 9 almost every night! And of course Laudan filled our tummies with lots of amazing food! My kind of relaxing weekend! When we got home on Monday night, we enjoyed dinner and s'mores at the Greers with more of our favorites! It was hard to get back to reality on Tuesday morning!

This is what happens when four best friends from preschool who are all separated for kindergarten show up to dance and realize they are all in the same class! Grace Ann is so blessed with precious friends!

Lizzie goes to 3K!

Lizzie started 3K at a new school today.  She had great day with no tears!  She seems to love her teachers. I think she will have a great year!  Here are some pictures from her meet-the-teacher day and this morning.  She wanted first-day pictures like GA had on her first day, but she wanted to choose the location and pose!

Grace Ann starts Kindergarten!

Grace Ann met her teacher yesterday and started kindergarten today!  Sadly, yesterday my big camera would not work so we had to settle for phone pictures.  UGH!! She had a great day and no tears were shed. We are so thankful for a wonderful school and such sweet friends going through this experience with us!  It makes it that much more fun!  Here are pictures from the two days - please excuse quality! Also, Blogger is not cooperating so these are out of order.  Chevron dress was first day and smocked outfit was meet the teacher (just so I can remember later!) Also, Grace Ann lost her 4th tooth on Sunday when she swallowed it eating a doughnut!  So she officially started Kindergarten without her two front teeth!

Atlanta Trip - Summer 2104

To celebrate the girls filling their "warm fuzzy" jars this summer, we surprised them with a trip to the American Girl store. We spent the night with Kaki and then visited the Children's Museum of Atlanta.  It was a great trip.  At AG, Lizzie picked out Kit and GA picked out Isabelle.
