For the record... 6 year and 4 year checkups

I recently took GA and Lizzie for their annual checkups (GA's was 6 months late, but she wasn't due for any shots so I just waited to do them together!) Poor Lizzie had to get 4 shots! It was so sad, but that wasn't as miserable to deal with as Grace Ann getting her blood pressure checked! She freaked out! Ugh!

Rockstar Emilyn's 6th Birthday!

Emilyn had an adorable rockstar themed 6th birthday party!  The girls dressed up and had a ball!

The Grace Party

Grace Ann is obsessed with all things American Girl, and she LOVES to plan a party! She decided she wanted to have a party with a few friends to celebrate the release of the new American Girl movie "Grace Stirs Up Success."  She had to read or write for 20 minutes a day (with a good attitude) for the first 3 weeks of summer in order to earn her party.  We did have to postpone once, but she worked hard for a few more days and earned her party.  She had a ball buying tacky decor from Party City, her favorite store!  In the movie, the main character Grace visits Paris, so we had a Paris themed party!

In the movie, Grace is a baker, so we decorated cookies!

After lots of food and sweets, we popped some popcorn and settled down to watch the movie!  It was a fun night for sure!

Baby DeWaard Gender Reveal

I don't know when I have been so excited for a new baby!  My dear Laura Ann is expecting a precious angel in November, and we are OVER THE MOON excited!

We got some of our friends together for a fun gender reveal.  Laura Ann had precious games for the kids to play to make them a part of the big night!

YAY!!! Its a GIRL!!!  Laura Ann said she looked over at that moment and I was jumping up and down!  We all know that I do love little girls and all things PINK!

Summer Show Offs 2015

When people told me in January, that I should quickly sign GA up for a summer day camp that would cost a small fortune and that she would sing a solo, I really wasn't sure what I was getting into.  But Summer Show Offs totally lived up to the hype and was worth every penny!  It was a wonderful week and Grace Ann had the BEST time!  I was so impressed with the energy of the counselors and what they could get the little ones to do on stage! Amazing!  Grace Ann CANNOT wait until next year! I would recommend it to anyone - even the shy ones!
