May 2012 Beach Trip Part 2

These are the second set of pictures from the first night Will got there and the next day.

We take so many pictures of Lizzie because she cooperates so well!

Love my dad!  He worked HARD on this trip - cooking, running to the grocery store, carrying all my junk, and of course taking care of little girls! He probably needs a vacation to recover from this vacation!

We were all so glad when Will got there!  The girls and I had not seen him in 4 days - I think that is the longest we've been without him since GA was born.

May 2012 Beach Trip Part 1

We just got home from a fabulous week at the beach.  It was perfect!  The weather was fantastic!  The only bad part was that Lizzie ran a fever for the first few days off and on due to a chicken pox vaccine she had about 5 days before we left (I didn't know you could get such a delayed reaction but apparently it is common). Other than the fever, a little excess seaweed, and missing Aunt Jenni, I wouldn't change a thing! Of course I took too many pictures, but I'll break them up into several posts. Here are some pictures from the first few days.

We ate breakfast on the deck most mornings. The girls were fighting over the chair! 

We found a crab on the steps of the pool!  So we had to call our resident "crab catcher"!

A late birthday photo shoot and 1 year stats

So my talented baby sister made this adorable cake the night before she graduated!

and I've had it in my fridge since Saturday!  So today, we grabbed some balloons and headed to Kelley Davis's so she could do a birthday photo shoot of Lizzie.  Lizzie was in a great mood and smiled a lot so I can't wait to see them.  Just to remember, these are a few from Grace Ann's birthday shoot with Kelley:

After the photo session, we met Will for lunch, ran a zillion errands, and the kids were exhausted, but I still wanted to have a quick photo session of my own!

I have a slight new obsession with polka dot balloons, and a long, well-documented obsession with pink and green! 

Yesterday was Lizzie's one-year check-up.  She weighed 20 lbs 3 oz (30th percentile) and is 29 1/4 in. tall (75th percentile).  To compare, at one-year, GA was 20lbs 4oz.  I think it is kinda weird that Lizzie weighed one ounce less at birth and still one ounce less at one year.   For some reason, I don't have GA's one year length written down, but I'm guessing she was shorter because she was definitely chunkier. 

She's a WALKER!

I will say today that Lizzie is officially a walker!  She's been taking steps for about a month now, but today she has been walking more than crawling.  We went to the park and she walked most of the time (and I'm sure her knees were thankful!)

and this one is growing up too fast too!

Jenni's Graduation

Aunt Jenni graduated from MUW today!  We are so proud of her and all of her honors and accomplishments!

April is a busy birthday month for lots of our closest friends, so we have been busy celebrating!

Today, we celebrated Collier's 3rd Birthday at the Carousel!

GA was not in the mood to ride the carousel today, saying she was "scared" but we watched Collier and his friends ride.

Mr. Cow came and gave Collier a ball! GA wouldn't get too close to him either.  She is in a very "scared" stage right now!

There were some "big girls" there so GA was in heaven!
