Christmas Pictures and such

Here are a few pictures we took this week after "decking the halls!"

Lizzie now has one visible tooth!

So easy to photograph!  No bribing, just sweet smiles!

Reindeer PJs - She is officially crawling well on hands and knees now! (7 months and 1 week)

Ready to go to "Twas the Night Before Christmas" at the Childrens Theatre

I told her to show me how the princesses dance with their prince.

In the leaves that Will had been raking.  Love this outfit on her!  Love it that I paid $5 for it at a yardsale!

Showing off her playdough creations.

Little Indians

This is a picture of GAs class before Thanksgiving.  Below the pictures is the video of them singing.  I was so proud of how loudly she sang! She is third from the right in the picture and on the far left in the video.  Look for the pigtails!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a great Thanksgiving week in Selma.  We had a great crowd and the food was wonderful as always (especially the desserts!) Thanks to Knox for most of the pictures since I didn't find time to take many.  We have so much to be thankful for!
Grace Ann hugging Cassie before school on Monday.

This one is way out of order, but I wanted to remember the turkey cookies we made before we left town.  GA had fun helping and taking them to the neighbors.

GA wanted to tend the bar.

WHY is it so hard to get a decent family picture?

After lunch we went to Papa's house and visited for a little while.

Milan Beers and Lizzie

I didn't get any pictures with "Aunt Ru" and "Uncle Scotty", but the girls really enjoyed them! They worked hard helping Will's parents babysit while Will and I went to the ballgame. Thanks ya'll for your help!

Birthday in Selma, some Random Pics

Friday was Grace Ann's birthday and we headed to Selma to celebrate with the Swifts.

Grace Ann's original request was "Banilla" cupcakes so Margie made some and Grace Ann got to decorate them with sprinkles.

But on her birthday morning (probably about the time Margie was putting the cupcakes in the oven) Grace Ann said she really wanted a BIG cake (not cupcakes) so Will stopped by Publix and picked up this fish cake for her!

The blue and green icing was messy so we changed into PJs and GA and Buddy had some cake!

Grace Ann's big birthday gift from the Swifts was a dollhouse and furniture.  Will and I bought some furniture too and Granny also gave her furniture so the dollhouse is FULL!

Snapped this one this morning before school - had to make it black and white to hide the food in GA's teeth!

"Smile for Mommy, Sissy! And get your hand off my yogurt melts!"

Lizzie at 6 Months

At Lizzie's 6 month appointment, she weighed 16 pounds and 5 ounces (50th percentile) and was 27.75 inches long (above 95th percentile) with a head circumference of 17.5 inches (90th percentile). Long and Lean! She is amazing us with her motor skills!  She can roll EVERYWHERE and is rocking on her hands and knees.  I really think she will be crawling any day now (scares me to death!).  The funniest thing she is doing these days is copying Grace Ann when she yells/squeals.  It is hilarious!  We finally quit the miracle blanket and nap nanny and she is sleeping in her crib now.  She is not interested in eating baby food AT ALL so she mainly is just getting formula.  She is such a sweet baby and such a JOY to have in our family!

Grace Ann's 3rd Birthday Party

Finally some party pictures! The day after the party, I realized that my compact flash card reader had corrupted both of the memory cards I had used at the party and I wasn't able to view any pictures from those cards (about 1000 total pictures from the last few months).  While I was having a slight heart attack from this news, Laudan advised me to take the cards to Wolf Camera to see if they could do anything.  I was upset about losing the party pictures but I was REALLY upset about the possibility of losing so many pictures of Lizzie from the last few months since she is growing so fast right now. One day and $40 later, Wolf was able to recover most (but still not all) of my pictures.  We have since bought a new card reader.  Lesson learned!  I will make DVDs of my pictures more often!  Here are the pictures I have from the party. Hopefully, I will get a few more as friends share.

The party was lots of fun.  Jill Vaughan was able to come lead Kindermusik for the kids.  We ate chicken fingers, tator tots, fruit, cupcakes, and ice cream.  After filling up on sugar the kids spent the rest of the party time just RUNNING!  They had so much fun!  Thanks so much to all our friends for sharing in our celebration!

Favor/Gift Table - Favors were maracas and tambourines since we had a music party!

Aunt Kim decorationg COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HER!

Dessert Table - Cupcakes, Ice Cream with sprinkles, gummy bears and sixlets for toppings

Grace Ann picked pink and purple as the colors

Kindermusik time - sweet Tripp was loving watching Mrs. Jill

SCARVES are so fun!

Love this of Kate singing "I'm a Little Teapot"
