Party Day!

Grace Ann has been planning her 4th birthday party since the day after her 3rd birthday party!  She was so interested in all the details!  Of course, we had a princess party, and Tiana and Rapunzel were surprise guests! We tried to cut our guest list a little this year and decided to only have girls since it was a princess party!  GA is very social like Will though and so it still turned out to be a pretty big party! Our guests wore princess gowns and looked adorable!

We had plenty of desserts - cupcakes, a Cinderella cake GA had been wanting from Publix forever, ice cream with princess toppings, and a GORGEOUS surprise cake from Aunt Jenni!

Aunt Jenni is so very talented!

Each place setting had a princess cup for juice and a crown and wand to decorate!

Aunt Kim came early and worked hard decorating with Rah Rah and Aunt Jenni (who I somehow missed pictures with)!

Tiana and Rapunzel were sooo pretty and sweet!

We were so happy GamMama and GanDaddy came!

The princesses entertained the girls with stories and games.

Baby Gwen was so cute in her dress!

Harris and Lane playing "Princess, Princess, Frog" which is another version of "Duck, Duck, Goose"

I could not believe how Lizzie sat so still with the big girls!

GA has been begging for a pinata (which she pronounces PEE- AH- TA).  It was a hit!

We had a great time!

Grand Hotel - Sunday

We took our time and enjoyed Sunday morning before checking out and heading home.  After the BEST BREAKFAST EVER, we fed the ducks and enjoyed the amazing scenery!

Lew and Haley's Wedding Weekend at the Grand Hotel

We traveled to Fairhope for Lew and Haley's wedding weekend and stayed at the Grand Hotel.  It was my first trip there, and I fell in love with it!  Everything was just beautiful - elegant southern style!  The food was fabulous, the weather was perfect, and the company was wonderful (I always enjoy a Mitchell family gathering)!  Of course, I took zillions of pictures and will break my favorites into two posts.  Here are the pictures from Saturday morning and the wedding!

The only picture we took before the wedding, because we were running late as usual!

I had hoped for more cooperative girls in pretty dresses in this gorgeous location, but this is real life!

What a gorgeous location for a reception! Notice the bride and groom dancing!
GA and RahRah dancing!

GA and the beautiful bride!

The girls loved dancing to the band!

Kaki is a great dancer too!

I'm trying to do a better job of getting pictures with me in them, so my girls will look back and know I was there!

The groom! GA loves Lew!

We had SO MUCH FUN!  We are so happy for Lew and Haley
and are already planning another trip to the Grand!
